Getting Away Again and Scan ResultsViews: 621

Hi all,
Since I got laid off, I have stayed busy working on websites for a local restaurant here in Florida and a community theatre in Illinois. I am going to try to make at least a partial living doing that. If you know anyone that needs a website, please let me know.

My husband and I are getting ready for our trip to Grand Cayman on March 4th. I can’t wait.
I am still trying to finish up my book too. Everytime you think your close you think of something else.

I got the results of my latest CT and Petscan and it is not as bad as I thought it might be so I was relieved. I have been off chemo almost a year. The tumors are actually growing at a slower rate then when I was on chemo-wierd.

My last scan October 1st- 2 tumors in the liver about 3.9×3.5cm is now 4.9 X 4.5cm and another new one that was very small (less than a cm)is now 2×2cm. One in the lung very small in October 1.2×1.0 cm is now 1.5×1.5cm, another mass (they weren’t positive if it was cancer) one in the lung was 7mm and has stayed the same size.

All in all not too bad. Remember these are colon cancer tumors. Even though they are in the liver and lung, it is still colon cancer. So it is growing pretty slow and that’s a good thing.
I will post some pictures of my trip when I get back.
Live live to it’s fullest
Donna

So happy to hear that your tumors are growing slower than they were. You are a very brave lady. You are in my prayers. Have a great trip. Love and hugs, Joyce

The caymans! So wish I was going with you. You deserve it. A beach vacation sounds like heaven right now. Glad your tumors are growing slowly. Sounds like you are staying busy.

Have a wonderful trip!
