Cruise was fantastic, I posted some pictures. I can’t believe how beautiful the Carribean is. I live in Florida only 7 miles from the beach but it sure isn’t nearly as beautiful as Grand Cayman or Cozumel.
Everytime I travel something happens and I mean every time. Fully expecting a major hurricane in our way somewhere. We only had a small bit of the tropical storm which I think was the one that later hit Texas as a major storm. It was Cristobal or Dolly I am not sure which one. Cruise ships make sure you have no access to any weather information so I had to look it up after I got home.
We had 56 mile an hour winds when leaving Belize but for some reason the waves were nothing (maybe 2-5 ft) and it only lasted about 2 hours. The captain had us sitting still just off the shore when we left Belize and I am sure that had something to do with it.
Still waiting for book to show up on Amazon, it should be any day. I am off again on Thursday, this time to Michigan to visit family.
Hope everyone is doing well.
Donna

I have never done a cruise probably for the very fact you can’t leave the ship when YOU WANT TO. Yes the Caribean is lovely, especially from the resort I stay at. No waves for me. Anyway hopefully when your book is out you will let us know here at Blog For a Cure. Will we be able to buy them from you too? You sound great and tripping through summer with abandoned pleasure. Hope all is well health wise. Weezie
Donna, I am so proud & inspired by you. I have stage 3A colon cancer & have had 7 out of 12 chemo treatments. I look forward to the day I can travel again, even if to just visit family. Hang in there you’re giving a lot of people hope! Rhonda
Glad you had a good time and thank you for sharing your pictures with us
